An interview with Angela

Her work has raised the eyebrow of many designers and art consultants looking for new content to add to their projects. Her artwork uses color, light and movement to evoke an emotional response, and is visually distinctive both in photographic technique and execution with no need for post production manipulation unless requested by the designer.  Angela Cameron’s fine art collections are breathtaking in range and scope, and enjoy international acclaim.

In addition to signature hotels and corporate settings, her work is showcased in galleries, on HGTV, at the Vancouver Art Gallery rental for staging/films, sales and in numerous magazines. Available for artist/business consultation sessions.

Kerry's dynamic extensive technical and coordination skills derived from his work as a cinematic special effects buyer and technician. This invaluable experience provides a great asset in ACFA's collaborative display techniques working with the interior design trade.Kerry and Angela's expertise in production and communications ensures that everything goes smoothly, from the first quote to your loading bay.

"I had a wonderful experience working with Angela Cameron. My project involved not only help with selecting the perfect image but custom colouring and custom cropping as well. We had to crop a single image into 4 parts to be hung on a curved wall. The images needed to be equal in size, but needed to achieve a certain balance within each individual pane, in addition to connecting as a whole. Angela's prompt and insightful help and suggestions ensured that the project was a success. Angela understood immediately the unique aspects of the project, and her attention to detail helped the project turn out beautifully, on time, and within budget."

Madeleine Fay / Art Consultant, Art Initiative, Inc.

"I immediately became interested in selecting some of Angela's fine art for the public areas of Westin Hotel projects not only because of her unique style she creates but also because I knew she understood the design concepts of the projects and could therefore recommend more images that would fit the style of the project perfectly. The quality and colors of the artwork are just amazing and the fine art Angela offers is spectacular and unlike anything I had seen before. I chose to work with Angela and her team on more projects because of the intuitive service that was provided which made for one of the greatest and smoothest experiences."

1.  What is the maximum size images can be enlarged to?

Every image we offer can go up to 8 ft wide with excellent quality. We only offer tightly edited, highest quality image resolution for superb enlargements. If the project requires larger space requirements, triptychs and diptychs series can be arranged to accomodate larger spaces. If you have wallcovering needs we can also accomodate that process.

2.  Can images be customized for specific sizes and color adjustment? Is there an extra charge?

All of our images can be custom sized and cropped to your specifications. Color adjustments can be applied to any image and we often work with the Pantone colors, as per designer request, for accuracy. Not all images are suitable for drastic color changes, inquire for your specific project. There is no extra charge for basic color adjustments. We don't post price per piece here on the website as all our work is custom design price specific. Call or e-mail for pricing and custom quotes.

3.  How long does it take from time PO (purchase order) is placed for artwork delivery?

We have accommodated orders in as little as 2 weeks, average time depending on order size and delivery destination is 4-8 weeks.

4.  What is the Exclusivity that you offer?

Any of our images have the option of exclusivity - that image will only be used for that project/client, not used by anyone else. This option is perfect for large projects for discerning clients. There is a higher cost, we are happy to quote for this option upon request.

5.  Where do you get your imagery from? What intrinsic value does your art have?

Angela Cameron creates the imagery herself, she has over 18 yrs experience in the photographic art industry. Her lengthy resume with awards achieved internationally is evident in the creative style offered. Many years of research and development of her photographic style, has produced what interior designers are seeking when looking for quality artwork that is produced and manufactured in the USA by your local print and framing artisans. Production is only outsourced to other countries as logistics permit.

6.  Are all images signed by Angela Cameron?

Yes, unless otherwise specified. There are two reasons: due to the abstract nature of the imagery, the signature in the lower right corner helps to identify the orientation of the art, but more important, Angela Cameron’s endorsement ensures the value and quality of her artwork.

7.  Is insurance provided for art shipping? Is there an extra charge?

Yes, we provide replacement coverage for all art shipments. There is an extra charge for shipping, crating, and insurance for each order. We require you to have insurance coverage once the art is delivered. We will consult with you based on timeline and destination as to the best shipping method.

8.  What payment is required upon placing a PO (purchase order)?

We require a minimum of 75- 100% of quoted price. Rush and custom orders, 100% is asked. Mastercard and Visa accepted.

9.  What if I want to change my order once PO has been placed?

We are happy to change your order if it has not gone into production.

10.  Can you be commissioned?

Yes, Angela may be able to photograph a specific location or subject matter upon request. There will be a day rate for this service. Please contact us.

11.  What does “open edition” or “limited edition” mean?

All the images we offer are “open edition” except for the designated icon labeled “limited edition”. Open edition images have no limit to how many are sold and where. Limited edition are as specified on our website for the edition amount and image sizes.

12.  What is the consultation process you provide?

We pride ourselves on personal service to accommodate your specific art needs. We understand that interior designers work with current colors and particular interior layouts. Custom graphic design layouts of your image choice to show options of cropping, size and color as requested, will be sent by email. After the desired image has been approved to your/ your clients satisfaction, we will do a spec sheet that shows the image, size, and all specs for completed artwork. A quote is done during this initial process as requested. Lab image samples are provided for approval with trade clients only before the final prints are made- charges deducted from final project total on approval for our production. Moulding/ matt samples also provided as needed.

It is our pleasure to offer solutions for your artwork needs whether it is a color image made B&W and toned to spec, putting similar images together to create a large art piece, we are constantly seeking new ways to present our art. Your feedback on what type of imagery you are seeking is encouraged.

13. Does your company support and create employment in North America/USA?
Yes, we support and create local employment by using approved printing and mounting facilities in the USA and Canada.  International orders are printed and shipped from the closest facility.
